TOP 8 QUESTIONS TO ANSWER ABOUT KUNDALINI IN DREAMS

TOP 8 QUESTIONS TO ANSWER IF YOU SUSPECT YOU'RE EXPERIENCING KUNDALINI ENERGY: Dream Info Session No. 161

WHAT IT IS

Kundalini is a Sanskrit word literally meaning "she who is coiled." It is nothing less than the energy of Consciousness, often symbolized by a cobra, usually white, but can show up in a dream as any dangerous snake.

This energy is intimately experiential, making it difficult if not impossible to describe with words. Which is one of the reasons it does show up in dreams more than you might think, even if you're not actively working with it. Pictures talk.

If you want to explore and work with this super octane energy, please, please, please connect with an expert, someone who's been there, done that, and can lead you away from or out of trouble. And, no, that's not me.

WHAT TO KNOW

Much like any form of intense energy - fire and electricity for example - Kundalini is dangerous only when you don't know what it is and how to handle it. But since Kundalini pops up spontaneously in some folks without them even having a glimmer it exists, and considering all the rapid energy waves rolling over us lately making people even wonkier than usual, we thought this might be useful about now.

COMMON ALERTS

1.    Do you hear sounds — unidentifiable tones; snippets of music; hissing, low roaring, or thunder-like background noise; drumming; bells — when there is no outside physical reason to hear them? Do these sounds seem to come from inside or outside your head? Or both?

2.    Do you ever experience spontaneous visualizations? Just stay calm and take notes without jumping into the "God-picked-me" barrel before you think about them, just like dream images. And again, check for physical sources first.

3.    Do you experience light inside your head or body or see your environment illuminated by other than natural means? What color is the light. how bright, how long does it last? Does it have any particular form? That note-taking thing again.... And seeing this type of light in a dream is fairly common.

4.    Do you feel unusual heat or cold in your body or on your skin for no apparent reason? Does it move or stay in one place? Can the heat be measured with a thermometer? (Intriguing thought, huh?) How often do any temperature changes happen and how much of the body do they affect? We're not talking hot flashes or drug reactions here.

5.    Do you experience spontaneous positioning of your arms, legs, fingers, even entire body, either in or out of meditation? Are the movements jerky, fluid, rhythmic, spasmodic?

6.    Do you ever spontaneously sign, gesture, grunt, cry out?

7.    Do you ever stare into space for long periods of time, or do your eyes look unfocused to other people? Again, not talking drugs here - or boredom.

8.    Do you spontaneously experience odd breathing patterns? If so, do they happen most often when you're alone, lying down, sitting or standing quietly?

And of course any or all of these could be indicators of genuine physical issues trying to get your attention. Couldn't hurt to see a medical expert of your choice, as well as a subtle energy one. Need to ensure the equipment is functioning properly, after all.

See you next week. And backtrack on your dreams to check for snakes. How's that for a parting shot?
